http://www.origiful.com/sacks/ this is the link to all the bags! 3 minutes of lightning-fast sewing and painting, and you’ve got an awesome shoulder bag. I make a lot of bags, mainly out of old clothes and things I find. I started doing this while I was living in Paris a couple years ago. i was doing art shows and painting a lot, but even at the most successful shows you couldn’t expect more than a couple hundred people to come see your work. So I decided to start painting on clothing and …

I am new to cross stitching and I would like to purchase a chart online. But I am unsure on how I will buy the stitch floss. There is over 50 different DMC colors to the pattern. What is the best way to get them?

Because of the high amount of questions that we get on how to make costumes, we decided to throw together a little tutorial on how we get started. Hopefully this will help answer questions you guys might have! ^_^ *PS: sorry for the horrible sound quality… we used Yuna’s camera and it apparently hates us all. Expect for kolibri… it is still undecided about her ^^;

I want to create a cross stitch of a logo that is unique for my friend’s company as a gift. Is there a way to take a logo and have it transferred to cross stitch fabric so that I can just follow the pattern similarly to how I would do a cross-stitch that I purchased in the store?

I’m having trouble reading my pattern. I’m a new cross stitcher and I have the color code and the single cross stitch down. I know how to do the other stitches, I just don’t know when to use the stitches and what exactly the pattern looks like to do those other stitches. Are there any good websites that show a pattern and then show what you need to do in each square so I can understand better?
For example, my issue right now is the upper left corner is one color and the bottom right shows to use another. In between is a solid line. I can’t find in the directions what the heck this means…
