hey there, just saw your video and i dont think you should cut off the ends of your locs. you just gotta have have patience and it’ll loc. but if you do cut it, your interlocked part should’nt unravel once it has matted enough. looking good though!!

Hang on Girl!! I know you are in that weird teen stage but it will be over soon!!! Just wait 6 more months before you alter it, if at all. Trust me they will look totally different by then. I messed with mine too early and regret it, just couldn’t make up my mind, wasn’t satisfied and kept cutting the ends. My hair would be at least 4 inches longer if I would have just let it be. I wish you strength and patience, it will pay off in the end! Pinky

KIETH on 5 May, 2009 at 4:30 am #

Yeah I am with everyone else on hoping you don’t cut the braided part off!!! I think this is just that phase they go through…
I’m still using the Medi-Dan shampoo and it is still amazing. I had severely dry scalp, it was flaking constantly and itching RIGHT after I washed it…now the Medi-Dan is doin’ the damn thang! :)
Let me know if you want me to pick you up a bottle the next time I go to Sally’s! I could mail it to you…because I’m cool like that. lmao

i had really itchy scalp too. i would suggest stop using a 2in1. shampoos and conditioners are made to do opposite things. the shampoo lifts the cuticle to clean the hair, the conditioner smooths the cuticle back down. they’re polar opposites on the alkaline scale. 2in1’s over time really dry your hair and scalp out. also make sure you are moisturizing with some kind of leave in BEFORE you put the oil on your hair. oil doesn’t moisturize. it seals in moisture thats already there. hth!!

I think you could definitely rock that color. I would wait until the locs are mature, but I think it would look great on you.

The back or something now and see if it will unravelim considering doing the back or something now and see if it unravels next time you wash.
The same thing just try cutting one like in the back or something now and see if it unravels next time you wash.
